AKWESASNE — The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Health Service’s Expansion and Renovation Project has entered a new phase of construction that will affect traffic flows around the old-Community Building today, which will also see activity as its demolition gets underway.
The main parking lot entrance between the old-Community Building and Health Services will be closed for renovations to the clinic’s front entrance and lobby. All visitors and employee traffic will be redirected to the facility’s east entrance located between Family Support and the old-Community Building for the duration of the demolition project.
Community members and visitors will utilize the parking lot located behind the old-Community Building and adjacent to the Health Services, Food Distribution and Maintenance buildings. All Health Services employees will park in the north parking lot and the new west parking lot. Employees from other tribal programs shall park in the gravel lot located behind the Family Support building.
Please reference the accompanying map that shows the Parking Lots A located north and west of the clinic are for Health Services employees only. Parking Lot B located between the Health Services, Food Distribution and Maintenance buildings is for community members and other visitors. Parking Lot C is for all other Tribal employees and program vehicles.
We appreciate your patience. As always, please exercise caution when travelling through the construction zone and obey the traffic control workers.
